Join us for a historic look into the property of the Institute Farm. This preserved landscape has changed hands several times in the last three centuries but has remained a snapshot of the experimental farm used in the 1850s. Join our experts and discover how this property has influenced the community of Aldie, from its earliest inception to its current use today.

Tour Highlights Include:

  • Exploring the grounds of the Institute Farm on a walking trail of the property’s beautifully preserved landscape.
  • Experts discussing the history of the Loudoun Agricultural and Mechanical Institute, the 1863 Battle of Aldie, and the modern use of the property by the National Beagling Club.
  • Enjoy a beer and wine reception at the preserved 1854 building used by the Agricultural Institute and current headquarters for the National Beagling Club
